After a whirlwind year both at work and at home, I am finally getting around to writing again. It has been quite some time since I last worked on this much neglected site of mine!
It may be slightly strange but I actually love making my New Years resolutions on Christmas Day of the year before! It gives me at least a week (back at the family home in peace and quiet) to get think about the things that I want to achieve for the following year…
This year ended up being quite work orientated, with a smattering of exercise and college peppered in between, with the result that I ended up feeling quite depleted by the end of it… So, I have decided that 2014 is going to be a year of finding balance again..
So the plan is to start the early morning jogging sessions again (honestly not too bad once you get back into it!) to ensure that I have my evenings free again! It leaves evenings free for college, which I absolutely must concentrate on this semester as well as getting back to yoga! My friend kirst started yoga training in September and she looks and feels fabulous. If that’s not inspiration to get involved, I don’t know what is!
And no New Years resolution is complete without something new to start!
So my new thing this year will be barrecore classes, which I found quite locally on the Kings road! These are supposed to be amazing, and you are guaranteed to notice changes in yourself within about two classes.. Sounds perfect!
I hope this year is amazing wherever you are!
